Our dogs
Our Boy, Sir Rigby Woodland (Rigby)
Rigby stole our hearts right from the very first day he came home. The labrador is a wonderful companion and Rigby is true to the breed. He is loyal, patient, expressive, fun loving and eager to please. Rigby graduated puppy school and then went on to further his obedience training. He is intelligent and learns quickly. Rigby loves to retrieve and has an amazing nose for scent.
Weighing in at 40 kgs Rigby is a big boy and he has an positive aura about him that gives him a strong presence. Rigby's hobbies are swimming, retrieving, watching TV and receiving food treats.
Our girls, Merkel & Oakley
MERKEL (Chocolate female)
We call Merkel our Princess because that is what she is. Merkel is a demur girl with an extremely loving nature. She is quiet, gentle, trusting and a loyal companion. Merkel has graduated from level 1 obedience with flying colours. She is exceptionally intelligent and loves to please. Merkel is our matriarch and she lets Rigby and Oakley know if she believes they have stepped out of line.
Merkel's hobbies are being with you, keeping an eye on what is happening on the other side of the fence, chasing wallabies (Merkel is extremely fleet of foot) and receiving food treats.
OAKLEY (Black female)
Oakley is the youngest Lachasse Labrador and is the quiet achiever of the family. She gets things done without a fuss, is quick to learn and has an incredible instinct to know what you want her to do before you ask her to do it. Oakley's pastimes are to sit on your lap for a cuddle, keep watch over her domain and play fetch with Rigby and Merkel. Oakley enjoys lying in wait whilst Rigby fetches only to pounce on him when he comes near to retrieve the toy for herself.
